Hong Kong Singapore Business Association Business Luncheon
June 21, 2022
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore (Singapore ETO) held a business luncheon in Singapore today (June 21) to share with the business community the latest developments and opportunities in Hong Kong.
Around 75 business leaders and executives attended the event in person, while other participants joined online.
Co-organised with the Hong Kong Singapore Business Association, the event was part of the Singapore ETO's celebratory events for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
In his event address, the Director of the Singapore ETO, Mr Wong Chun To, pointed out that Hong Kong was blessed with immense opportunities under various strategies and initiatives promulgated by the Central Government, notably
the National 14th Five-Year Plan, which supports Hong Kong's development of eight international centres and emerging industries.
As Asia's leading world-class city and one of the world's most competitive economies, Hong Kong will continue to be the prime partner for businesses to tap the vast business potential in Mainland China, in particular
the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and beyond," Mr Wong added.
The Singapore ETO will continue to organise a series of events in the coming months to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR.
