Trading with Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a free port which thrives on free trade. The city maintains no barriers on trade. Hence there is no tariff imposed on importation or exportation of goods. Our open door policy has enabled us to become one of the world’s largest trading economies and an international financial and commercial centre serving the Asia-Pacific region and the Mainland China.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council is the international marketing arm for Hong Kong-based traders, manufacturers and service providers. With its network of about 50 offices worldwide, and the city’s natural business advantages, the Council provides a range of services to help global trade and promote Hong Kong as a platform for doing business with China and throughout Asia.
